Acceptable Use Policy

1. Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) governs the use of the HireHub website (www.hirehub.cloud), application (app.hirehub.cloud), and related services (the “Platform”).

This Policy applies to all users, including Employers, Candidates, advertisers, and visitors.

 By using the Platform, you agree to comply with this Policy. Breach of this Policy may result in suspension or termination of access and, where appropriate, legal action.

 This Policy should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

2. Lawful Use

Users must use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in compliance with:

  • The laws of England and Wales
  • UK employment law
  • The Equality Act 2010
  • Data protection legislation
  • Advertising and consumer protection regulations

Users must not use the Platform in any way that breaches applicable law or regulation.

3. Prohibited Conduct

3.3 Platform Misuse

Users must not:

  • Attempt to bypass subscription or payment systems
  • Access data without authorisation
  • Scrape or harvest user data
  • Reverse engineer, copy, or exploit platform software
  • Introduce malware or harmful code
  • Attempt to disrupt platform functionality
  • Conduct automated data extraction without written consent
3.4 Content Violations

Users must not upload, post, or transmit content that:

  • Is unlawful, defamatory, or misleading
  • Infringes intellectual property rights
  • Contains harmful or malicious code
  • Promotes illegal activity
  • Misrepresents job opportunities

HireHub reserves the right to remove content that violates this Policy.

4. Employer Responsibilities

Employers using the Platform must:

  • Provide accurate and truthful job information
  • Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation
  • Avoid discriminatory recruitment practices
  • Respect candidate privacy
  • Use candidate data solely for recruitment purposes
  • Honour applicable payment obligations


Employers are solely responsible for employment contracts, payment of wages, and compliance with right-to-work requirements.

5. Candidate Responsibilities

Candidates using the Platform must:

  • Provide accurate profile and CV information
  • Apply only to legitimate job opportunities
  • Communicate professionally with Employers
  • Avoid submitting fraudulent credentials
  • Ensure they are legally entitled to work in the relevant jurisdiction

Verification badges confirm identity validation only and do not represent endorsement of competence.

6. Advertising & Promotional Conduct

Advertisers and promotional partners must:

  • Ensure all content is lawful and accurate
  • Avoid misleading claims
  • Comply with UK advertising standards
  • Obtain necessary approvals where required

HireHub reserves the right to refuse or remove advertisements at its discretion.

7. AI and Technology Use

Users must not:

  • Manipulate AI matching systems
  • Attempt to influence algorithmic results unlawfully
  • Exploit automated processes
  • Circumvent identity verification systems
  • Misuse badges or trust signals

AI tools assist in matching only and do not guarantee employment outcomes.

8. Data Protection & Privacy

Users must:

  • Respect the privacy rights of others
  • Use personal data obtained through the Platform solely for lawful recruitment purposes
  • Avoid sharing user data outside the Platform without consent

Any misuse of personal data may result in immediate account suspension.

9. Monitoring & Enforcement

HireHub reserves the right to:

  • Monitor use of the Platform
  • Investigate suspected breaches
  • Remove unlawful or inappropriate content
  • Suspend or terminate accounts
  • Report unlawful activity to appropriate authorities

Monitoring is conducted in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

10. Reporting Violations

11. Consequences of Breach

Where a breach of this Policy occurs, HireHub may:

HireHub’s decision regarding enforcement actions shall be final.

  • Payment obligations are not met
